Article: Mobile Connections on the Upswing Again in Peru

Changes in mobile connection counts among major carriers in Peru negatively affected growth rates in 2012 and 2013. After absorbing the impact of such changes, a 6.4% expansion brought the number of mobile connections in the country up to 31.9 million in 2014. At the same time, the number of mobile phone users rose 6.2% to reach 17.7 million. A further 4.7% improvement will push that total to 18.5 million in 2015.
